Kelowna Kia is looking for a Service Advisor to join our team!
The candidate we are looking for would have excellent communication, sales ability, and customer service skills. Someone that has a TEAM first attitude and works well with others. Our culture is a strength for the store and plays a factor in any hiring decision.
Previous experience in an automotive service department is strong attribute.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome all incoming guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Sell & recommend maintenance and repairs to service customers
- Create and write service orders
- Ensure work orders are written with accuracy
- Provide accurate written cost estimates for labor and parts
- Follow up on unsold work
- Liaise with Technicians to ensure proper work flow
- Develop and create lasting guest relationships
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
- Ensure guests are contacted regarding any changes in the estimate or completion time
- Explain to all guests the cost and requirements of their service in full detail
- At time of check out explain the completed work and all the charges to the guest
- Keep up with maintaining the organization of the department by keeping the service forms, menu and pricing guides up to date
Requirements:
- 1+ years experience in a service advisor role is preferred
- Customer focused with strong customer service skills
- Works well under pressure
- The ability work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi task
- Organized, motivated and a self-starter
- Computer skills and experience with Microsoft office would be considered a asset
- Enjoy working with a diverse group of individuals
- PBS experience and knowledge would be considered an asset
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work Saturdays
- Must have the legal right to work in Canada
- Must have a valid and clean driver license
