Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Post Construction Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring newly constructed or renovated spaces are thoroughly cleaned and ready for occupancy. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial and commercial cleaning, with a focus on post-construction environments. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, contributing to the completion of building projects by providing high-quality cleaning services.
Duties
- Remove debris, dust, and leftover materials from construction sites to prepare spaces for final inspection and occupancy
- Clean windows, floors, walls, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, cabinets, and appliances, ensuring they are spotless and sanitized
- Dispose of waste materials responsibly and ensure the work area is safe and organized
- Use specialized equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, or pressure washers as needed
- Collaborate with construction teams to identify areas requiring additional attention or specific cleaning procedures
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) during all cleaning activities
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred, especially in post-construction environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
- Reliable transportation is a plus for timely job site access
