Kawartha Metals Corp is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Material Handler in our Rebar department. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday from 7am to 4:30pm. The functional role is to pull, cut, organize rebar orders and assist customers with the loading of their orders.
Responsibilities
- Receiving, unloading and organizing rebar and related materials
- Safely moving materials with forklift
- Loading and staging rebar for production and/or shipment
- Verifying material quantities, sizes, grades
- Maintaining accurate inventory
- Keeping work area clean, and organized
- Other duties as assigned
The successful candidate will possess:
- Knowledge of the metal and steel industry
- One to three years' experience in wholesale and/or manufacturing environment
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrate ability to work in a safe manner
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45.0 per week
