Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under supervision, following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Support food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards
- Help with food service operations, including plating and serving dishes to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and dining areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during service hours
- Follow all food safety protocols diligently, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Support the supervision of junior staff when necessary, fostering a positive team environment
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety standards is advantageous
- Demonstrated leadership qualities or supervising experience is a plus for future growth opportunities
- Familiarity with restaurant management or food industry operations is beneficial
- Strong understanding of food handling, safety regulations, and customer service principles
