Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Assistant (Manufacturing) to join our dynamic production team. This role involves supporting manufacturing processes through meticulous laboratory work, ensuring product quality, and assisting with data collection and analysis. Duties
- Conduct routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Collect, record, and analyze data accurately to monitor manufacturing processes and product consistency.
- Assist in performing quality control checks throughout the production cycle, identifying deviations or defects.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results, procedures, and observations in accordance with company protocols.
- Support the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure precise measurements.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot issues identified during testing and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives by providing insights based on data analysis and laboratory findings.
Experience
- Previous laboratory experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and basic analysis skills.
- Solid mathematical skills for interpreting test results and measurements.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and maintain meticulous records.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
