Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner while providing excellent customer service. No previous experience needed, although it is a benefit.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport products to customers in a timely manner
- Load and unload cargo following specific instructions
- Follow delivery schedules and routes
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Interact with customers in a professional manner
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 80lbs, however we rarely handle anything over 20lbs)
- Decent data plan on personal cellphone as position requires the use of an app to complete delivers in real time
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with freight delivery
- Knowledge of local roads and routes
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
