Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook and Cashier to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve dishes promptly and efficiently during service hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow sanitation procedures to uphold health standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or related food industry roles
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Excellent understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of serving standards and customer service principles is a plus
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays if required
