Role Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for leading custom millwork projects from contract approval through final installation. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, manages material procurement and production schedules, and coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution
- Maintain full ownership of projects from initiation through completion.
- Ensure accurate site measurements are obtained prior to fabrication.
- Coordinate workflows across drafting, procurement, fabrication, finishing, and installation.
- Identify potential risks or conflicts early and implement effective solutions.
- Manage scope changes and change orders in collaboration with management.
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality standards and client satisfaction.
Client Experience
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Set clear expectations regarding timelines, deliverables, and site requirements.
- Attend site meetings (virtual or in-person) to ensure alignment with project scope and client expectations.
- Ensure final installation and post-installation outcomes meet or exceed clients’ expectations.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in project management within millwork, cabinetry, or construction.
- Ability to provide necessary project estimates
- Strong understanding of drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in both English and French.
- Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office Products (excel)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in millwork or production environments.
- Experience working with drafting or design teams (e.g., AutoCAD or similar tools).
