Responsibility & Tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and stock levels
- Communicate with fellow teammates with a professional, positive attitude.
- Prepare/expedite food orders as directed by management staff
- Maintain proper uniform and hygiene.
- Participate in Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives
Job Requirements
- Greet all guests enthusiastically with our standard “Welcome to Firehouse” greeting, and thank them as they leave.
- Deliver consistent and exceptional hospitality through friendly, attentive behaviour and strong product knowledge supporting our hospitality vision.
- ATC - > Direct the activities of the bread, setup and steamer positions to successfully maintain high quality, accuracy and speed of service to all guests, including coordinating bread and meat cheese setups. Accurately dress toasted bread according to guest order.
- BREAD/SETUP - > Ensure proper bread and toasting standards. Ensure proper meat/cheese setup and proper rotation of product in steam tables.
- STEAMER -> Ensure placement of steamed meat/cheese on the dressed bread and in packaging as per dine-in or take-out. Final quality and accuracy check of the order and one last hospitality opportunity before the guest leaves.
- Use proper procedures to ensure the accuracy of every order for every Guest.
- Provide detailed menu and product knowledge
- Ensure every Guest receives a prompt and a warm greeting, and entire orders meet the speed of service targets
- Promptly execute service recovery for any guest concerns or complaints by making it right with the Guest regardless of involvement
