Overnight Caregiver – Seniors & Elderly Support (Start ASAP)
Are you a compassionate and dependable caregiver who enjoys making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors? We are looking for experienced Caregivers/HCAs (BC Care Aide Registry preferred) who are available to start immediately and work overnight shifts supporting seniors in their homes.
This role is ideal for someone who is attentive, calm under pressure, and experienced with overnight care. During resting shifts, you will have designated rest time but must remain available to respond promptly to the client's needs throughout the night.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide overnight supervision to ensure the client's safety and well-being
- Be available to assist the client during the night as needed
- Assist with toileting, repositioning, hygiene, and other overnight care
- Perform safe transfers using mechanical lifts and transfer equipment
- Monitor for changes in the client's condition and report concerns
- Provide compassionate support for clients with dementia or complex care needs
- Complete light housekeeping related to client care
- Document care provided and communicate with the care team as required
What You Bring:
- Minimum 3 years of professional caregiving experience
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with client transfers and mechanical lifts (REQUIRED)
- Current registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry in good standing (preferred)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification
- Food Safe Certification
- WHMIS Certification
- Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, compassionate, patient, and professional
- Excellent communication and observational skills
