Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as directed by supervisors
- Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks such as mixing materials, setting up scaffolding, or preparing work areas
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery safely under supervision
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure worksite for all team members
- Assist in setting up and dismantling construction sites or work zones as needed
- Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in construction or industrial environments
- Reliable transportation or proximity to the worksite preferred
- Prior experience in construction or manual labour is a plus but not required
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
MUST be comfortable with meat processing and cold environment.
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
