Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Male and detail-oriented Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper to support our bakery operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen while assisting the baking team with daily tasks. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where maintaining hygiene and supporting production is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, baking trays, utensils, mixing bowls, and equipment
- Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, counters, storage areas, and sinks
- Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing inventory
- Support bakers with basic prep tasks such as measuring ingredients, arranging items, and packing baked goods
- Ensure proper storage of cleaned equipment and tools
- Take out garbage and recycling, and maintain waste disposal areas
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Help maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- Assist with end-of-day cleaning and closing duties
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically active environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Previous experience in a kitchen or bakery is an asset.
