Position : Brake Press Operator
Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay Rate: $20–$25 per hour
Shift: 7am - 3pm (Morning Shift)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Brake Press Operator in Mississauga. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining brake press machines to bend and form metal components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate brake press machines according to job specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and production schedules.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Adjust machine settings to achieve optimal performance and precision.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
- Follow safety standards and maintain an organized work area.
- Assist with other production tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Min 1+yr experience in operating a Brake Press machine in a metal fabrication setting.
- Strong understanding of measurements, angles, and forming techniques.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and technical instructions.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and committed to consistent attendance.
