ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Are you an experienced logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced supply chain environment? IntermodeX is looking for a Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator to play a key role in managing container movements, coordinating transportation providers, and supporting customers across Western Canada and North America.
In this role, you will work directly with ocean carriers, trucking companies, rail providers, terminal operations, and customers to ensure cargo moves efficiently through the supply chain. You’ll be responsible for coordinating drayage, rail transportation, equipment positioning, and resolving operational challenges that impact service delivery.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Coordinate container drayage movements between IntermodeX facilities, ocean terminals, rail terminals, and customer locations.

Work directly with ocean carriers, railways, trucking companies, and terminal operators to ensure seamless freight movement.

Manage equipment releases, empty container repositioning, and transportation schedules.

Resolve operational issues related to rail billing, shipment routing, service disruptions, and recovery planning.

Communicate proactively with customers and stakeholdersregardingshipment status, delays, and solutions.

Support continuous improvement initiatives, operational efficiencies, and supply chain contingency planning.

Assistwith invoicing inquiries and collaborate with internal teams to resolve transportation-related discrepancies.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

2+ years of experience in container trucking, intermodal transportation,logistics, or supply chain operations.

Post-secondary education inlogistics, transportation, international trade, business, orrelated fields.

Strong understanding of the container shipping industry, terminal operations, and transportation networks.

Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders in a customer-focused environment.

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

Proficiencywith Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
