Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Part-Time Service Technician to assist with vanity and kitchen cabinet repairs. This role involves performing precise repair work, ensuring cabinetry is restored to its optimal condition. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, woodworking, or handyman services, with the ability to interpret schematics and utilize various hand and power tools. Duties
- Conduct cabinet repairs including filling, sanding, refinishing, and reassembly to restore appearance and functionality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions related to cabinetry.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment for precise repairs.
- Assist with minor installation tasks such as aligning doors, hinges, and handles.
- Perform restoration work on damaged cabinetry using appropriate techniques.
- Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and client specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding repair status and completion.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cabinetry repair, woodworking, or handyman services.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Experience with restoration techniques for wood surfaces.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Construction experience including carpentry, flooring installation, or masonry is a plus.
Pay: $250.00 per day
