AMG Contracting Group is looking for a reliable, skilled Handyman / Small Projects Technician to join our Edmonton team. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, communicate professionally with clients, and take ownership of smaller renovation, repair, restoration, and maintenance projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Complete residential and commercial repair and renovation work
- Drywall repairs, patching, boarding, taping, painting, trim, doors, hardware, framing, flooring repairs, and minor demolition
- Assist with water damage, mould remediation, and restoration work when needed
- Complete small project scopes efficiently and to a high standard
- Pick up materials, keep jobsites clean, and maintain company tools/equipment
- Communicate progress, material needs, and jobsite issues to management
- Provide professional customer service while working in occupied homes and businesses
- Help supervise labourers or subcontractors on smaller jobs when required
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on construction, renovation, maintenance, or handyman experience
- Strong knowledge of drywall, painting, finishing carpentry, basic framing, and general repairs
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve without constant direction
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Comfortable driving to jobsites throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas
- Physically capable of lifting materials and working on active construction sites
- Reliable, organized, professional, and respectful with clients and coworkers
- Experience in restoration, mould remediation, or insurance repair work is an asset
- First Aid, WHMIS, and a clean criminal record check are assets

Pay: $28–$35 per hour, depending on experience.
