Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover/Helper to join our team. This role involves assisting with the safe and efficient relocation of items, providing excellent customer service, and supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, have strong communication skills, and be comfortable with heavy lifting and working in dynamic environments.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading furniture, appliances, and other items during moves
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed (training provided)
- Safely lift, carry, and position heavy or bulky items to ensure secure transportation
- Support team members in organizing and preparing items for moving or storage
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide professional service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas within the warehouse or moving sites
- Support with commercial driving tasks if qualified and licensed
Requirements
- Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or related fields is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with customers
- Experience operating forklifts or willingness to learn (training provided)
- Valid commercial driver’s license is a plus but not required
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in physically demanding environments
- Good customer service skills to ensure positive client interactions
Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
