Fix Auto Edmonton Strathcona is looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician!
A day in the Life of an Auto Body Technician at Fix Auto
- Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components as per manufacturer’s specifications.
- Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers.
- Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams.
- Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
- Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
- Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs.
- Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure the achievement of quality standards in restoration and repair, in order to reduce and eliminate rework and warranty claims.
Requirements :
- 2-4th year apprentice or journeyman required
- Comfortable repairing collision damage correctly and consistently, start to finish
- Organized and efficient
- Strong mental attitude
- Unlimited Earning Potential! Can produce as many flat hours as desired. Bonus pay is available for high achievers!
- Accepts mistakes and learns from them
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $100,000.00-$160,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Auto Body Repair: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
