Forged Construction, is an Ottawa based construction and renovation company. We service Ottawa and the surrounding areas. Our team is made up of experienced professionals who have a passion for construction and a dedication to excellence. We specialize in custom bathrooms and kitchens, rental property renovations, as well as decks, railing, exterior bars and seating areas, flooring, and more.
The right candidate for this position will be someone with a life-long learning attitude, and 2+ years of experience working in construction/home renovation. As a Renovations Foreman, you will be responsible for leading the team in carrying out the job to client satisfaction, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project timelines and ensure timely completion of renovations
- Lead and collaborate with a team of contractors and subcontractors
- Provide ongoing assistance, guidance, training, and hands-on direction to team members.
- Oversee compliance of safety & procedural policies
- Act as a liaison between clients, operations manager, project assistants, and sub-trades maintaining a positive team environment.
- Perform various tasks related to home renovations
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Home Renovations Contractor or similar role
- Have ability to encourage & promote teamwork
- Self-motivated & schedule conscious
- Proficient in using power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Life-long learning attitude
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions
- Must have Valid driver’s license
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
