Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for food service and hospitality, looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced setting. The Kitchen Helper will play a vital role in food preparation, cleaning, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations to deliver excellent service to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Support food handling and storage procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Help with basic cooking tasks as needed, including assembling ingredients and preparing simple dishes
- Ensure all workstations are sanitized and organized before, during, and after shifts
- Assist with serving food to guests when required
- Support the team in maintaining inventory levels and restocking supplies
- Follow health and safety guidelines consistently to promote a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to perform basic food preparation and cooking tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about culinary operations
- Prior hospitality or serving experience is a plus but not required

Pay: $20.00-$25.55 per hour
