Join WSP’s Atlantic Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance Team as an experienced Project Manager – Hazardous Materials and Indoor Environmental Quality Consultant . Based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, with flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement and home office location, this role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful projects that help clients create healthier, safer, and more sustainable environments.
Working across hazardous materials, indoor environmental quality, and industrial hygiene projects, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and contribute to solutions that protect people, property, and communities.
- Lead hazardous materials, indoor environmental quality, and industrial hygiene projects from proposal through delivery.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful client outcomes.
- Conduct and oversee building assessments, inspections, investigations, and reporting activities.
- Support clients in identifying environmental health and safety risks and implementing practical solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated environmental and infrastructure projects.
- Mentor junior professionals and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for future project growth.
- Contribute to healthier workplaces, safer buildings, and improved environmental performance across Atlantic Canada.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing projects involving hazardous materials assessments, indoor environmental quality, industrial hygiene, or related environmental consulting services.
- Strong understanding of relevant federal, provincial, and industry regulations and standards.
- Demonstrated experience preparing technical reports, proposals, and project documentation.
- Strong project management skills including budgeting, scheduling, scope management, and client communication.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required, including field and site-based work activities.

Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $84,500 - $131,000
MB & ON: $77,100 - $124,900
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $76,300 - $119,300
