Summary
We are seeking a Lunch Time Supervisor to oversee meal times at our partner schools in southern Ontario. This role is vital in ensuring a safe, engaging, and positive environment for children during lunch hours, reflecting our company's commitment to child well-being and education.
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal distribution and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities as required.
- Collaborate with school staff and catering team to facilitate smooth lunch operations.
- Address any behavioral issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lunch area.
- Promote healthy eating habits and good manners among students.
- Qualifications
- Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle diverse needs of students, including those with disabilities.
- Previous experience in early childhood education or classroom settings is preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and colleagues.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service environments.
- Possess a clean police record (Vulnerable population)
