We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscaping and Snow Removal Foreman to lead our outdoor maintenance teams through all seasons. Duties
- Supervise daily landscaping and snow removal activities, ensuring timely completion of projects and routes
- Lead and motivate team members, providing clear instructions and fostering a positive work environment
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, and lawn care to promote healthy growth
- Manage snow removal operations including plowing, shoveling, de-icing, and sidewalk clearing during winter months
- Coordinate with clients to understand project specifications and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
- Conduct site inspections to ensure safety standards are upheld and work quality is maintained
- Assist with equipment operation and maintenance, including irrigation systems and construction tools as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising landscaping crews or snow removal teams with strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, gardening techniques, and landscape maintenance practices
- Construction experience related to outdoor projects is highly desirable
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently during snow removal or landscape installation
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate team efforts and liaise with clients effectively
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions for extended periods
