We are a busy and growing Grand Format Printing Company seeking an experienced Mac Prepress Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large format print production, exceptional attention to detail, and advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Responsibilities
- Prepare customer artwork and production files for grand format printing
- Preflight, troubleshoot, and optimize files for print accuracy and quality
- Work closely with sales, design, and production teams to meet deadlines
- Ensure color consistency and print readiness across multiple substrates and applications
- Operate within a Mac-based production environment
- Manage file setup for large format printers, cutting systems, and finishing equipment
- Maintain organized workflow and production schedules
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a prepress or large format printing environment
- Expert knowledge of:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Strong understanding of print production workflows and file preparation
- Experience with grand/large format printing processes and materials
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
