About the Opportunities
DCG is looking for Senior Carpenters, seasoned professionals based in Langley, BC. In this role, you will engage in various carpentry tasks, including formwork, layout, framing, and concrete projects, all while following strict safety protocols.
Qualifications for each level:
Carpenter 4 (Senior Carpenter)
- Red Seal certified (4+ years) or 5 years’ practical experience.
- Full layout capabilities, curved formwork, and mentoring.
- Reads intermediate plans and conducts material take-offs.
- Leads teams of 1–3 lower-level apprentices.
Carpenter 5 (Lead Hand Carpenter)
- Red Seal certified (min. 5 years) or un-ticketed with 6+ years’ experience.
- Leads crews, handles full site layout and surveying.
- Reads all plan types (architectural, structural, etc.).
- Manages safety documentation, timesheets, and pour coordination.
