Hours of Work: Hours of work are scheduled based on operational requirements to include weekdays and weekends. A typical shift is 11pm - 7:30am.
Job Description
- Maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily.
- Answer telephones and guest inquiries
- Issue key and control entrance of safety deposit box
- Post Miscellaneous charges as needed
- Daily balancing of the Front Desk and Restaurant cashiers
- Investigation of discrepancies
- Auditing of the Hotels daily sales transactions
- Preparation of daily Hotel Revenue reports
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Register guests onto the computer, verify reservation, address and credit information
- Check guests in and out
- Accept payment for guest’ accounts both at the time of registration and at check-out.
- Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience as a night auditor and/or front office/cashier an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Detail oriented
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be self-starter, able to work on own with little or no supervision.
- Must posses strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, customer service skills.
