Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items with attention to quality, consistency, and timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding serving, food safety, and sanitation
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or as a line cook in a restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food industry standards, including proper food handling and safety protocols
- Experience with cooking techniques and meal preparation across various cuisines is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in a professional culinary environment
- Strong understanding of food service operations and the importance of teamwork in a restaurant setting
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable for this role
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
