Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients’ dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Support clients with mobility exercises and assist with transfers or repositioning as needed
- Document care provided, observe changes in health status, and communicate updates to healthcare teams promptly
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly valued
- Demonstrated experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of dementia care strategies and medication administration procedures
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Must be physically capable of assisting with client transfers and mobility support

Pay: $24.25-$27.19 per hour
