Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. As a Painter, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through your expertise in applying paint, stain, and other finishes. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Restore and maintain surfaces by caulking, patching, or repairing as needed.
- Rig scaffolding or ladders to ensure safe access to high areas for painting.
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting is required
- Proficiency in using hand tools and painting equipment.
- Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques and finishing applications.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods, lifting materials, and sometimes working at heights.
