Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety compliance
- Conduct repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and other mechanical systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, storage spaces, and equipment rooms
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to resolve issues efficiently
- Assist with preventive maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of facilities and equipment
- Document all maintenance activities accurately in logs and reports for future reference
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate larger repair projects or upgrades as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in general maintenance or repair work within commercial or industrial settings
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery safely and effectively
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, and building safety standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward troubleshooting issues
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks in various environments
- Relevant certifications (such as OSHA safety training or trade licenses) are preferred but not mandatory
