Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service during busy hours
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines
- Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service in a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and customer preferences is a plus
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal presentation
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Pay: $20.00 per hour
