Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations.
- Assist with food handling and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their dining experience.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service at all times.
Skills
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in the food industry.
- Proficiency in using POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.
- A team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills to work collaboratively with colleagues.
