Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Counter Attendant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure your success. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems
- Prepare and serve food items according to safety and sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas,
- Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times during food preparation and serving
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Follow all health regulations related to food handling and sanitation
Qualifications
- Previous food industry or restaurant experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as lifting or carrying items as needed
- Familiarity with POS systems
- A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role
Pay: $18.25-$18.75 per hour
