Job Summary
The ideal candidate would have experience working with children, strong communication skills, and a supportive and encouraging approach. Experience in education, childcare, or working with students with diverse learning needs and verbal delays an asset.
Responsibilities
- Provide one on one support with a child with diverse needs, adapting activities and providing individualized care.
- Foster positive social interactions among children to promote teamwork, sharing, and empathy
- Collaborate with team members to observe and document children's progress and behavior for ongoing assessment
Qualifications
- Prior classroom experience working with children
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families
- Ability to remain attentive, patient, and energetic throughout the workday
- A genuine passion for supporting children's growth and development in a caring environment
Pay: $25.00 per hour
