Join our dynamic team as a Sign Installer and play a vital role in bringing visual communications to life! In this energetic position, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of signage across different locations. Your expertise will help ensure that signs are safely mounted, clearly visible, and professionally finished, contributing to the overall branding and safety of our clients’ environments. This role offers the opportunity to work outdoors and indoors, utilizing your technical skills and attention to detail to deliver high-quality results on every project.
Duties
- Safely install a wide range of signs including channel letters, banners, wayfinding signs, and digital displays according to specifications and safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, lifts, and scaffolding to mount signs securely on walls, poles, or structures
- Measure and align signage precisely to ensure proper placement and visual appeal
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to confirm installation details and address any site-specific requirements
- Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, or adjustments on existing signage to ensure optimal visibility and durability
- Follow all safety protocols during installation processes to prevent accidents or damage
- Complete installation reports, document site conditions, and communicate progress effectively with team members
Requirements
- Proven experience in sign installation or related construction/maintenance roles is preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or installation instructions with clarity
- Strong knowledge of tools such as drills, levels, measuring tapes, lifts, and scaffolding equipment
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy signs and work at heights safely
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on precision and quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel between multiple job sites as needed
- Basic understanding of electrical components for digital signage installation (nice-to-have)
- A class 5 drivers or better, with air endorsement is an asset.
