Job Overview

Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating process efficiently
- Handle reservations and waitlist management using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Provide accurate wait times and assist guests with seating arrangements
- Maintain a clean and organized host station and dining area
- Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and assist with reservation bookings or general questions
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Manage guest flow during peak hours to optimize seating capacity and reduce wait times
- Assist in maintaining a friendly, hospitable environment that encourages repeat visits
Skills
- Proven experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality roles preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Knowledge of food service operations and restaurant procedures is a plus
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Previous hotel or restaurant experience is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
