AGI Transport Inc is a growing trucking and logistics company based in Caledon, Ontario, providing transportation services across Canada and the United States. We are committed to safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence, and are looking for a Safety & Compliance Coordinator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Canadian (MTO, CVOR, NSC) and U.S. (DOT, FMCSA) transportation regulations.
- Maintain and update equipment matainence records in compliance portals.
- Administer fuel cards, including issuance, driver updates, and transaction monitoring.
- Order Certificates of Insurance and Letters of Experience for customers, drivers, and owner-operators.
- Maintain driver qualification files, onboarding documentation, and training records.
- Monitor and audit Hours of Service (HOS) and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) compliance.
- Investigate collisions, incidents, and safety violations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate driver safety meetings, training, and compliance programs.
- Process and maintain IFTA, IRP, CTPAT, and U.S. DOT compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate safety records and prepare for internal and regulatory audits.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of safety and compliance experience in the trucking industry.
- Strong knowledge of MTO, CVOR, NSC, DOT, FMCSA, HOS, ELDs, IFTA, IRP, Dangerous Goods, WHMIS, and CTPAT.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation/compliance software.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
