Repair Technician
Job Description:
The Repair Technician is responsible for repairing our client’s equipment, performing functional tests, and diagnosing defective parts.
To ensure success, the Repair Technician must be meticulous and able to efficiently perform tasks with a high level of precision.
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: Fixed hours! Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Location: Rigaud, QC

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Perform a pre-functional test to confirm the machine's problem.

Diagnose and replace defective parts.

Test machines after repairs to ensure they function properly.

Close the ticket in the system once the repair is completed.

Update the inventory system with the equipment used to repair the machine.

Responsible for returning equipment according to internal procedures and processes.

Responsible for refurbished equipment.

Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and inspections according to company policies and procedures.

Lift, push, or pull items and boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.

Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and follow all safety procedures and policies.

Ensure the effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
Qualifications / Requirements:

1 to 2 years of experience in the field of electronic repairs.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Bilingual, both written and spoken.

Comfortable with computers, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.

Excellent communication skills.

Physical strength and endurance.

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Ability to stand for long periods.

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs constantly.
