WHO ARE YOU?
The Project Coordinator we are seeking is someone who:
- Has a minimum of three (3) years proven experience as a PC in the ICI Construction sector, previously working with a General Contractor.
- Is able to support the entire project team (PM, Superintendent, subtrades, and client).
- Has exceptional written and oral communications skills.
- Is administratively organized to ensure a seamless flow of information.
- Has a strong understanding of CCDC2 and CCDCB5 contracts.
- Is able to read and understand construction blueprints and drawings.
- Is able to work in a team or independently.
- Can work on multiple projects at any given time.
WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS:
- Start up of all project documentation, ensuring distribution to all project parties.
- Assist with negotiating subtrade contracts.
- Maintain project logs, binders, and electronic files without flaw.
- Assists with the change order process and claims.
- Assist with preparation and updates of phasing and sequencing plans.
- Understand client specifications.
- Assist with budgeting.
- Assist in contract and contract revisions.
- All other duties of a PC, and Sr. PC in the construction environment.
