The Warehouse Assistant supports the daily operations of the warehouse and retail store. This role involves receiving, organizing, moving, and preparing furniture, while helping keep the warehouse and store clean, organized, and safe.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving furniture and merchandise.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Keep the warehouse and showroom clean, tidy, and safe.
- Help set up and move furniture displays as needed.
- Assist with receiving shipments and stocking products.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures.
- Perform other warehouse and general labour duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 80–100 lbs safely.
- Warehouse or general labour experience is an asset.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Class 5 Driver's Licence is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
Pay: $18.25 per hour
