URBAN DINER is an 75 seat Diner located at 124 street and 102 avenue in High Street in the historic Glenora neighborhood. We are looking for talented staff to join the team!
We are a from scratch kitchen, with a good vibes only team focused on high quality food and we have fun doing it! We have a line cook position available, one part time cook position available!
Who you are:
- You are capable of maintaining protocol in delivering consistent product in the kitchen
- Your are keen to ensure a high quality of ingredients & food preparation
- You take initiative to jump in to help both your team & customers when needed
- You're keen to learn, listen & contribute to a collaborative team
- You're friendly, energetic & quick on your feet
- You're great team player & have a positive attitude
What you have done :
- 2-3 years restaurant/kitchen experience
- 2+ years cooking experience
What we need :
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Presentable to guests and team members alike
- High energy with proven ability to achieve goals
- Ability to learn all prep and service techniques
- Must be available evenings and weekends
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
Schedule:
- Closed Mondays
- Available daytime Saturday and Sunday
- Available some evenings
