Jettkey Equipment Inc. is a rapidly growing heavy equipment sales, rebuild, rental, and asset management company operating throughout Canada and the United States.
We are seeking an experienced Shop Foreman/Operations Manager to lead our shop team and take ownership of daily operations.
This is a leadership position for someone who understands heavy equipment, can manage workflow, lead people, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
The ideal candidate is not just a mechanic. They are a leader, problem solver, and someone who takes pride in building a productive, accountable, and successful operation.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily shop operations and workflow
- Lead mechanics, apprentices, and fabrication personnel
- Schedule and prioritize equipment rebuilds and repairs
- Coordinate equipment completion and delivery schedules
- Assist with diagnostics and troubleshooting when required
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, and quality control
- Communicate timelines, parts requirements, and project status to ownership
- Build a culture of accountability, urgency, and teamwork
- Ensure equipment leaves the shop safely, efficiently, and on schedule
Qualifications
- Extensive heavy equipment experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with a high level of accountability
- Experience with construction, forestry, mining, agricultural, or industrial equipment is considered an asset
- Heavy equipment leadership experience required. We are looking for a leader who can drive productivity, accountability, and results—not just another technician.
