Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with plumbing, welding, boilers, and appliance repair. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols
- Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling units to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct inspections of systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, and ductwork
- Utilize plumbing and welding skills for system modifications or repairs as needed
- Work on boilers and other mechanical equipment requiring specialized knowledge
- Diagnose issues with appliances related to HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs
- Maintain accurate documentation of service performed and parts used
- Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC system installation and repair
- Proficiency in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Experience with maintenance procedures for various mechanical systems
- Construction background or experience working on building systems is a plus
- Mechanic experience that includes troubleshooting complex machinery
- Knowledge of safety standards related to HVAC work environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
