Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced DZ Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong focus on driving skills, heavy lifting, and maintaining a professional attitude to ensure timely deliveries and excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Operate DZ licensed vehicles to transport goods efficiently and safely across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo, often involving heavy lifting, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
- Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures during transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Assist in securing loads to prevent shifting during transit
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly for repairs or servicing
Experience
- Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience operating commercial vehicles, preferably in a delivery or logistics setting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong driving skills with knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
