We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our our team.
This role is essential in preparing dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent kitchen skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Cook menu items and ensuring consistency and quality
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of food products
- Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
