Vintage is currently searching for hosts to join our team. A great way to get into the hospitality industry we are seeking a full time day host and a part time evening host.
Position: Host
Terms of Employment: Part-time to Full Time. Candidates must be flexible and have the ability to work variable shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
Job duties:
- Greet patrons when they enter the building; Make them feel welcome
- Be aware of open tables, or wait times at peak times
- Must be able to use reservation system (OpenTable)
- Show guests to their table
- Thank patrons and invite them back to our restaurant as they leave
- Other job duties to assist the front of house operations as required depending on volume
Requirements:
- Positive attitude
- Excellent verbal communication
- Polite
- Calm under pressure
- Open Table knowledge considered an asset
