Job Title: Finishing Helper/Sander
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for preparing and sanding custom cabinet doors and wood products to ensure they are ready for finishing.

JOB SUMMARY
This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to producing smooth surfaces that meet our high standards. You will work closely with our production team to prepare each piece for the finishing process, contributing to the overall quality of our products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reporting to the onsite Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for but not limited to the following tasks:
- Sanding wood surfaces to prepare them for staining or finishing.
- Cleaning and preparing surfaces using sanding tools and other equipment.
- Inspecting pieces for imperfections or damage and correcting them as necessary.
- Assisting in the application of primer or base coatings when required.
- Maintaining sanding equipment and ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Keeping work areas clean and organized.
- Adhering to safety rules, government regulations, and company policies and procedures.
- Ensuring the workplace remains a safe and clean environment.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a woodworking, millwork, or manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of sanding techniques and surface preparation.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work with sanding equipment and other tools safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle materials in a production environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
