This role is based in our truck and transport maintenance facility’s parts room and is responsible for receiving, storing, recording, and distributing of inventory materials, parts, and products for commercial transport vehicles.
Main Duties
- Maintain inventory through ordering, restocking, and stock taking to insure inventory does not surpass nor deplete beyond acceptable levels
- Prepare & process purchasing and work order transactions
- Coordinate activities with other work departments
- Prepare and submit reports as required by management
- Requisition supplies and materials
- Coordinate service breakdowns on the road
- Monitor vehicle maintenance scheduling and program
- Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies
- Catalog and store items for the parts and tool room
- Maintain a computerized inventory system
- Operate computer systems, equipment, machinery and arrange maintenance and repair work
Hours of Work
- 4 Days with 4 Days off - 7am to 6pm (rotating a day out each week)

Skills & Education Requirements
- Experience in shipping/receiving, inventory control or related field
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Ability to lift and move 25kg
- Mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, manual transmissions, drive trains, suspensions, air brakes, electrical systems and wheel systems is an asset
- Experience operating a forklift or operator’s certificate is an asset

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
