We are a family based Canadian company with 40 years of construction knowledge and offer a wide range of services in the industry, taking on multiple projects as the Owner, General Contractor or Subcontractor.
Looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Employees are expected to work in a safe manner at all times.
- Work with supervisors and other employees in a respectful manner.
- Attend work consistently and on time.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
- Must pass a drug/alcohol screening test.
The successful candidate will maintain and repair RDM's lineup of heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, dozers, skidsteers, etc. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic must be able to effect repairs, source parts, schedule services, and organize repairs that cannot be completed in-house. Some small engine repair is also required.
Must have the ability to work independently and with little supervision...organization and a tidy shop are priorities.
Must possess own tools.
Must have valid D/L and provide abstract.
Must provide minimum 3 references.
Experience operating and working on heavy trucks is a plus.
Experience Required:
- Min. 5 years heavy truck repair
- Some shop supervision preferred
