Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and properly qualified/licensed construction blaster for rock excavation work in the Muskoka area.
We already own and operate our own rock drilling equipment, high-CFM compressor, excavators and can provide the drilling and site equipment. We are looking for the right person to oversee and perform the blasting side of the operation.
Ideal candidate:
* Licensed to perform construction blasting in Ontario
* Strong experience with rock blasting for foundations, excavation and site development
* Able to review/establish drilling patterns and blast requirements
* Experienced with safe loading, firing and blast procedures
* Familiar with Ontario blasting regulations and required documentation
* Reliable and interested in ongoing/project-based work
Experience with residential and cottage construction blasting in Muskoka is a major asset.
Compensation is negotiable and will reflect experience and qualifications.
